Newbie Guide

Knights

As a knight you want to train your skills up before you begin to think about hunting. Head north to training monks until about 40/40. Use exevo pan to conjure up food and train your magic level while you train.

To gear up quickly hunt something easy (orcs/minotaurs/undead). Start up a big loot bag and send it back to your depot. Once back, sell all of your loot and buy a nice level twenty five weapon from a vendor.

Keep hunting and make some more money. 
Once you sell that, go buy some healing runes from a druid. 
Then head somewhere like cyclopses or dragon hatchlings.

Paladins

As a paladin you want to train your skills up before you begin to think about hunting. Head north to training monks until about 50/40. Use exevo pan to conjure up food and train your magic level while you train. In addition you can use exevo spear to conjure up spears to keep training.

To gear up quickly hunt something easy (orcs/minotaurs/undead). 
Start up a big loot bag and send it back to your depot. 
Once back, sell all of your loot and buy a bow/crossbow and possibly a crystal ring from 
the store.

Then train your skills up some more while making bolts or arrows 
(they do the same damage). you might want to make some hmm's for extra money. 
Then go hunting something easy to kite while you level up.

Druids / Sorcerers

As a druid or sorcerer your first job will be to get a few levels under your belt. 
Head to hunt something easy (orcs/minotaurs/undead). 
Use exori vis if you are a druid or exori flam if you are a sorcerer to assist in the kills. Stay until you are level twelve or thirteen.

Head back to town and make backpacks of hmm/fireball/intense healing. 
This will train up your magic level and will give you ammunition to use on your hunts later.
Or if you want to gear up you can sell these runes to fellow players for money 
(runes are always in high demand).

Now you can go use your runes to hunt whatever you want. 
A good suggestion is beholders found under the swamps.
